Oklahoma Baseball Punches Ticket to College World Series With Super Regional Sweep of Kansas

The University of Oklahoma baseball team is headed back to Omaha.

The Sooners defeated No. 15 Kansas 13-2 on Monday, June 8, to complete a two game sweep of the Lawrence Super Regional and earn a spot in the 2026 Men’s College World Series.

With the win, OU advances to the College World Series for the 12th time in program history and the second time in the last five years. The Sooners now move into the national spotlight at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, where eight teams will compete for the 2026 NCAA baseball championship.

Oklahoma opens College World Series play against No. 7 Alabama on Saturday, June 13 at 2 p.m. CT on ESPN.
