Oklahoma Football TV Windows Set for 2026 Season

The Southeastern Conference has announced television windows for the 2026 football season, giving Oklahoma Sooners fans a clearer picture of when several key matchups will kick off this fall. The SEC’s television partners, including ABC, ESPN, SEC Network, and ESPN2, will once again control most conference game selections.
Two Oklahoma games already have confirmed kickoff times and television assignments:
Sept. 12 at Michigan — 11:00 a.m. CT on FOX
Sept. 19 vs. New Mexico — 6:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2
For the remainder of SEC play, the conference has assigned games to television windows rather than exact kickoff times. Those windows include:
Early Window: Noon–1 p.m. ET kickoff
Afternoon Window: 3:30–4:30 p.m. ET kickoff
Night Window: 6–8 p.m. ET kickoff
Flex Window: Either afternoon or night kickoff depending on television selection.
Oklahoma’s 2026 schedule features several marquee matchups, including road trips to Georgia Bulldogs, Michigan Wolverines, and Florida Gators, along with the annual Red River Rivalry against Texas Longhorns in Dallas. The Sooners will also host Kentucky Wildcats, South Carolina Gamecocks, and Ole Miss Rebels in Norman.
OU’s Sept. 26 SEC opener ant Georgia is designated as an ‘Flex’ game that will start between 2:30-3:30 CT or 5-7 CT. Four of Oklahoma’s contests following the OU-Texas game also received a ‘Flex’ designation: Oct. 17 against Kentucky, Oct. 24 at Mississippi State, Oct. 31 against South Carolina and Nov. 7 at Florida.
The Sooners' Nov. 14 home game against Ole Miss and Nov. 28 regular season finale at Missouri are designated for ‘Afternoon’ starts. OU’s Nov. 21 home finale against Texas A&M was selected for an ‘Early’ start. Additional kickoff times and network assignments will be announced throughout the season as game dates approach. SEC television selections are typically finalized six to twelve days before kickoff.
