Oklahoma City Football 1v1’s Set for June 20 at Scissortail Park
High school and college football athletes will have a chance to compete, sharpen their skills, and get more eyes on their game during the high school football 1v1’s: “Who’s The Biggest Dawg” event on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Scissortail Park Sports Pavilion in downtown Oklahoma City.
The event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 403 SW 10th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73109, and will feature a competitive 1v1 format for wide receivers and defensive backs.

The event is hosted by Coach Jason Rucker, better known as Coach Ruck, and Jonathan Mosley, also known as Coach Jaymo, who played football and graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. Coach Ruck is a 7-year military veteran who has been coaching football for the past 5 years and who is also the founder of 405 Underdogs, an organization focused on giving athletes opportunities to compete, grow, and be seen. He and his assistant Coach Daejon “Dae” Robinson who is one of the top WR coaches in Oklahoma and is known for his attention to detail and ability to develop talent started 405 Underdogs from the ground up because they noticed that there are a lot of kids in Oklahoma City who get overlooked and don’t receive the offers or exposure they deserve because of their background, where they’re from or simply because they were never given a fair opportunity.
Coach Ruck says “this event is another way for us to put Oklahoma City and our athletes on the map and show everyone that we have some of the best football players in the nation”. He says he “would genuinely do all of this football and coaching work for free. Everything I’ve accomplished and how far I’ve come as a coach is because my kids believed in me. My purpose has always been, and will always be, the kids”.
This event is built for athletes who want to prove themselves. Participants will go through a WR/DB skills circuit before coaches select eight wide receivers and eight defensive backs based on their performance in the skills circuit to compete in the tournament style 1v1 portion. Athletes will have to win two out of three reps to move on to the next round.
There will also be a $500 cash prize on the line, along with an additional best quarterback reward incentive, adding even more energy to the competition.
This is exactly the kind of event I love seeing in Oklahoma City because it gives local athletes a stage. A lot of talented players do not always get the attention they deserve, and events like this create another opportunity for them to compete in front of coaches, creators, media, and the community.
I will be there covering the event, along with other creators, to capture content and help put more eyes on the athletes who participate. My goal is always to help tell the stories of Oklahoma high school athletes, whether that is through photos, video, features, or social coverage. Events like this give players another chance to show their competitiveness, personality, confidence, and athletic ability.
According to the event rules, participants must be 8th grade through college sophomore and must adhere to the event policies and guidelines of their school and athletic association. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m., and athletes must fill out the event waiver in order to participate.
For questions, athletes are asked to DM @big.rvck on Instagram.
Events like this help build the football culture in Oklahoma City. They give athletes a reason to compete, creators a chance to document the talent, and the community another opportunity to support the next wave of Oklahoma football players. Coach Ruck, Coach Dae, and Coach Jaymo are helping develop better young men.
