Langston University Marching Band Performs at OKC Thunder Game
The Oklahoma City Thunder hosted their annual HBCU Night game on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 and the main event was the Langston University Marching Band at halftime. Langston University is the only historically black college in Oklahoma and is Northeast of Oklahoma City and their nickname is the Lions.
The Langston University Marching Pride Band and Golden Feline Dancers are a staple of the LU community and state. The energy and excitement they bring to events and games is electrifying. Langston band is ranked among the Top 10 HBCU Division II bands in the nation.
