Senior Night at East Central vs. Tahlequah

I headed up I-44 from OKC to Tulsa to watch the Tulsa East Central Cardinals play Tahlequah on Senior Night for some very talented young men and to support my cousin Rickey Bruner III in his final home game as a Cardinal.

The entire East Central staff and administration was welcoming and great to work with on this special night for the girls and boys basketball teams. They both won their games, but while it wasn’t the cleanest of wins but a win is a win. Turnovers plagued the boys team against Tahlequah and some communication issues were seen but hey it was Senior Night. You can see the potential for both teams as they set their eyes on a championship.

Next up for them is Owasso in Owasso.
