High School Football: Jenks H.S. to play Southlake Carroll H.S., TX. at Cotton Bowl Stadium

High school version of the Red River Rivalry is coming to the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, TX.

The historic game will be held on August 27, 2026 when Jenks High School from Jenks, OK. will meet Southlake Carroll High School of Southlake, TX. to open the 2026 football season.

Jenks is an 18-time Oklahoma state champion. The Trojans were 10-2 last season and averaged more than 50 points per game.

Southlake Carroll is an eight-time Texas state champion and the Dragons made a state final appearance as recently as 2024.
