JD Shaw Announces Retirement with Phantom Regiment

Phantom Regiment announced September 8, 2026 that long-time brass arranger JD Shaw is retiring after 17 years with the Phantom Regiment.

Shaw marched with Phantom Regiment in 1990 and 1991. He was the Phantom Regiment brass arranger from 2002 to 2011 and again from 2020-2026. During that time Phantom Regiment won the Drum Corps International world championship in 2008.
