Oklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein and Skechers visited Star Spencer High School and the boys basketball team on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 for a special basketball practice session.

The visit is part of Skechers’ 2025 Register Roundup program which generated a $15,000 donation for Star Spencer High School in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. and supports students experiencing homelessness or housing instability and strengthens the school’s boys basketball program.

Hartenstein joined the team on the court for practice and offered instruction and insight from his journey to the NBA. Hartenstein demonstrated key basketball fundamentals and mentorship to the student athletes.

Star Spencer High School is located in Spencer, Oklahoma. Star Spencer is part of the Oklahoma City Public Schools and the athletic teams are known as the Bobcats.

The event continues Skechers’ partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, which has raised more than $670,000 since 2021, supporting classroom resources and school programs for more than 17,000 students in under-resourced communities across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
